The 2026 Bear Peak is built for real van life. Long weekends, full road trips, remote work stretches, ski trips, surf mornings. This 144 Sprinter camper van is compact enough for daily driving but capable enough for true off-grid travel.
For 2026, both Bear Peak and Flatiron picked up refinements shaped by owner feedback and real trips. Subtle updates, but the kind you notice quickly once you start using the van day to day.
Hereβs how the Bear Peak comes together inside.

Transcript for 2026 Bear Peak Van Tour
Iβm Ash with Geotrek, and today Iβll be showing you the 2026 Bear Peak.
Welcome to the Bear Peak. Iβm going to walk you through everything it includes, from front to back.
First, we offer dual swivel seats. In the front, youβll find our premium upgraded touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, along with an electronic rearview mirror that allows you to switch between traditional mirror mode and camera view.
We also include a Geotrek-branded headliner shelf built in-house. Itβs perfect for storing window covers, backpacks, and other accessories. Privacy curtains drop down to help you stay incognito and keep heat contained in the cab while maintaining comfort in the living space.
The Bear Peak is built for all-season camping. It includes a diesel heater located below that blows warm air into the cabin. We also install two MaxxAir fans β one in the front and one in the rear β providing dual airflow for proper circulation.
As you look around, youβll see our Midnight Black Phoenix finish. The interior shell is bamboo, and the cabinet faces are birch. All cabinets feature soft-close hardware and secure latches to prevent items from shifting during travel.
At Geotrek, we continuously improve our builds based on customer feedback and real-world experience. Thatβs why we upgraded to soft-close drawers, perfect for utensils, cookware, and everyday kitchen essentials.
We also redesigned our inset sink. The fitted cover now comes standard with every build. The deep farmhouse-style sink pairs with a swivel faucet, allowing you to open the sliding crew window and even shower outside if desired.
Under the galley, youβll find the five-gallon gray tank along with ample storage space. The Dometic refrigerator offers 113 liters of volume with a fridge/freezer combo.
The 24-gallon fresh water tank is located in the rear garage cabinet. Customers can customize this area with options like a middle cubby for spices, an induction stove, or a hot water heater.
Inside, the Bear Peak includes a bench seat with a removable happy hour table. For 2026, we upgraded the lighting to dimmable switches and added a built-in outlet to the bench, allowing you to plug in an induction burner or laptop and work comfortably.
The bench also includes two dividers designed to fit a portable toilet, or they can simply be used for storage such as shoes and gear. A Lagoon swivel mount provides a flexible surface for dining, cooking, or working.
The build features a six-inch custom mattress with a north-south sleeping orientation. Reading lights are installed for comfort while sitting up in bed.
Power comes standard with a five-kilowatt EcoFlow system, complete with a touchscreen display and Bluetooth capability for remote control via your phone. The system separates AC and DC power β DC for essentials like the fridge, lights, and fans, and AC for outlets and induction cooking.
The Bear Peak includes 400 watts of solar on the roof, charging capability while driving via alternator connection, and shore power access for external plug-in charging.
The heater remote is conveniently located near the sleeping area so you can adjust the temperature without leaving bed.
The Geotrek Bear Peak is built on a 144 chassis and includes a factory lift with black wheel and tire package.
In the rear, youβll find two spacious garage areas β one housing the electrical system and the other storing the fresh water tank. New for 2026 is a tank light that allows you to monitor water levels while filling.
If you need additional cargo space, the bed platforms can be removed easily. The mattress folds in half, and the panels can be stored away, giving you maximum flexibility.
That wraps up the 2026 Bear Peak tour. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our team at GeotrekVans.com.
Interior & Living Features
The Bear Peak interior is built around flexibility and everyday function. Dual swivel seats rotate to face the living area when parked, extending your usable space. Soft-close cabinetry throughout includes latches to keep contents secure while driving.
A Lagun mount swivel table works as a cooking surface or laptop desk. The bench seat provides interior storage for gear, shoes, or a portable toilet. For 2026, we added a 120V outlet to the bench for plugging in devices without running cords across the floor. The six-inch custom mattress uses a north-south orientation, so both people can get in and out of bed independently without climbing over each other.
Highlights
- New for 2026: 120V Bench outlet for easy device charging.
- Dual swivel driver and passenger seats.
- Soft-close cabinetry with secure latches.
- Lagun mount table for work or cooking.
- North-south mattress for independent bed access.
Kitchen, Water & Climate Systems
The galley includes a deep farmhouse-style sink. For 2026, we upgraded to an inset design that sits flush with the counter. A flat cover (now standard with every build) creates additional workspace when the sink isn’t in use.
The 24-gallon fresh water tank supports extended boondocking, with a 5-gallon gray tank for wastewater. The Dometic fridge is a 113-liter fridge-freezer combo.
Climate control runs year-round. A diesel heater mounted below the floor keeps the cabin warm, with the remote positioned next to the bed for easy access. Dual MaxxAir fans (front and rear) provide circulation, pulling air in or pushing it out depending on conditions.
Highlights
- New for 2026: Inset sink with flush cover for extra counter space.
- 24-gallon fresh water tank for extended trips.
- 5-gallon gray water storage.
- Diesel heater with bedside remote control.
- Dual MaxxAir fans for year-round ventilation.
Off-Grid Power & Garage Setup
The Bear Peak comes standard with a 5kW EcoFlow battery system with a touchscreen control panel and Bluetooth connectivity to your phone. The system uses an AC/DC split: DC loads like the fridge, lights, and fans run on one circuit, while AC outlets for plug-in devices run on another.
Power comes from three sources: 400 watts of solar on the roof, alternator charging while driving, and a shore power plug on the exterior for campground or home charging. Learn more about how our off-grid systems work.
The rear includes two garage compartments. One houses the battery system, the other holds the fresh water tank. Both provide space for bikes, gear, and equipment. For 2026, we added a tank light in the garage area, making it easier to monitor water levels during fills.
The bed platform is removable in two sections. Pull the platforms, fold the mattress, and you have full cargo space. When you’re ready to sleep, the platforms go back in minutes.
Highlights
- New for 2026: Tank light for monitoring water levels.
- 5kW EcoFlow system with phone control.
- 400W solar panels on roof.
- Shore power + alternator charging.
- Dual garage storage for gear and bikes.
What Changed for 2026
The 2026 changes come from specific owner feedback about day-to-day use. Here’s what drove each upgrade and how they improve the van.
- Dumbbell switches with dimmers replace the previous light switches. Owners told us they fumbled for switches in the dark and wanted better control over brightness levels. The new switches are easier to locate by feel, and the dimmer function lets you adjust lighting for any situation – bright for cooking, low for winding down, or somewhere in between for working at night.
- Bench seat outlet puts power right where you’re sitting and working. Charge laptops, plug in an induction burner at the Lagoon table, or run small devices without stretching cords across the interior. It’s one of those additions that feels obvious once you have it.
- Inset sink with flat cover creates a clean, continuous work surface when the sink isn’t in use. The flush design gives you more prep space for cooking or working in the galley. The cover now comes standard with every build.
- Tank light in the garage makes it easy to see your fresh water fill level without a phone flashlight. The dedicated light shows exactly where you’re at when filling the tank or checking capacity before a trip.
Each change improves daily function based on real-world use.
